Master’s Program (Pre-Doctorate)
Shizuoka University Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology, Department of Informatics
The majority of the professors in the Faculty of Informatics instruct in both the Integrated Science and Technology program and the Informatics program. Graduate work takes place at the Hamamatsu Campus.
Most of the graduate students coming from the faculty’s undergraduate program continue the investigation they initiated in the senior dissertation with the same faculty advisor, and the majority of students in the Faculty of Informatics undergraduate program continue working toward a master’s degree after graduation.

Special Program for Worker Reeducation (Refresher Course for Professionals)
In the Special Program for Worker Reeducation, professionals can learn while they continue working. This program focuses on research topics relating to issues in industry and aims to provide feedback to the workplace with learning and research findings at the graduate school. Classes are held at nights and on weekends and holidays with online support to accommodate the needs of working professionals.
Doctorate Program (Post-Master)

The doctorate program is available at the Graduate School of Science and Technology for those who complete the Master’s Degree in Informatics and wish to advance their studies to a higher level.
Many of the faculty advisors in Department of Information Science andTechnology at the Shizuoka University Graduate School of Science and Technology also teach at the Faculty of Informatics. If your advisor forms part of the Faculty of Informatics, teaching and research generally take place at the Hamamatsu Campus.
