2016.03.04A public RTK-GNSS reference station has been equipped in Hamamatsu campus

Prof. Kitani (Department of Informatic) and his research group have equipped a public RTK-GNSS reference station in Hamamatsu campus on Feb. 24.
This news and his project "Hamamatsu, the high-precision positioning-ready city," have been interviewed by a web site of Office of National Space Policy, "Quasi-zenith Satellite Systems."

His project is to provide an environment that lets local researchers and developers in Hamamatsu develop and generate novel location-based application and services with precious location information.
