Master’s Degree Program (Pre-Doctoral Program)
Most of the faculty members of the Faculty of Informatics concurrently hold positions in the Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology and the Department of Informatics, and the education they provide takes place at Hamamatsu Campus. In the case of students entering from within, the majority of students do not change their thesis or academic advisor, and the more than half of graduates of the Faculty of Informatics enter the master’s program.

(Special Course for Recurrent Education)
The Special Program for Supplementary Education for Working Professionals aims to provide an opportunity to gain experience while working. Under this program, students, who are working adults that remain at their job, use awareness of professional issues as a research theme and loop back the results of study and research to their professional setting. In consideration of the fact that students are still working, the program offers courses in the evenings and on holidays and provides instruction via the Internet for the convenience of working students.
Doctoral Degree Program (Post-Doctoral Program)
For students who have completed a master’s degree in informatics and wish to pursue more advanced research, there is a pathway to the doctoral program at the University’s Graduate School of Science and Technology for Innovation. In the Shizuoka University Graduate School of Science and Technology, many faculty members of the Faculty of Informatics concurrently teach in the Department of Informatics, and their guidance, education, and research are basically conducted at the same Hamamatsu campus as the Faculty of Informatics.
