I have developed a supportive system that uses generative AI to improve human-to-human communication. While generative AIs like ChatGPT have been used to generate responses in dialogues, they have not been utilized to understand them. By instructing a generative AI to rephrase a statement in a dialogue based on its context, I can obtain an interpretation of the statement from the perspective of each speaker. I then compare these interpretations to identify statements that could cause communication difficulties if misunderstood.
